Jason Pourtaverdi is a Legal Clerk with over 25 years of experience in both State and Federal level cases in Stanislaus County. His areas of expertise include:

Jason began his career as a Criminal Justice major at California State University, Stanislaus. He went on to law school, earned his Juris Doctor, and became a lecturer at Modesto Junior College, where he taught Criminal Law and Procedure in the Paralegal Program.

 

He recently accepted a teaching position at his alma mater, CSU Stanislaus, where he inspires students to pursue excellence both in the classroom and in their careers.

 

With decades of experience working for law offices in Modesto managing and preparing legal documents, Jason brings deep legal knowledge and a commitment to serving the community. A Stanislaus County resident for over 30 years, he takes pride in calling Turlock home.

Desirey Alvizo is a proud graduate of California State University, Stanislaus, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Legal Studies.

Driven by a passion for justice and advocacy, Desirey furthered her education by completing a Paralegal Certificate through the University of the Pacific’s CLS by BARBRI program.

 

 

With a strong foundation in legal research, case preparation, and procedural law, Desirey is committed to supporting legal professionals and serving the community with professionalism and purpose.

 

Her academic background, combined with practical training, positions her to contribute meaningfully in legal settings focused on fairness, accountability, and client support.
